Viewings Infomation

If your property is being advertised for the next academic year, there are a few key pieces of information that you need to know.

Please note that you do not need to be present for viewings, however you are quite welcome to be there, and we will try and minimise any disruption to your lives and study.

Please find below some general information regarding this period, remember that the quicker your property is let, the less time I need to spend at the house doing viewings, so it’s good for everyone to let it fast.

Please can you:

  • Check your emails regularly, you will receive notification of all viewings dates and times via Arthur or email by the day before they happen.
  • Keep your house and room extra clean and tidy.  Keep on top of the washing up, and take the rubbish out.
  • Make sure you are out of bed for the viewings; we try to make them as late as possible, and aim never to do a viewing before 10am.
  • Ensure all light bulbs are working, this is a part of your contract, and makes a huge difference when doing viewings.
  • Open your curtains, again, this really helps show the house off to its best.

We will:

  • Inform you all of viewing by email/Arthur.
  • Arrive around 5 to 10 minutes before the stated viewing time to ensure the house is prepared.  We will turn all lights on, and make sure the curtains are all open.
  • If any light bulbs are not working, I will replace them, but I will charge you £2 per standard bulb, and £5 per halogen spot.  Please make sure you do this, so I don’t have to.
  • Any bedrooms I have to unlock, I will lock them again when I leave.
  • Once a group have decided to take the house, I will arrange a second viewing with them, and will sign the contracts with them at that time in the house.

If you have any questions regarding any of the above, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
